Computer boot up keeps switching computers off

Computer shut down after a few seconds at boot up can be caused by faulty touch pads, on switches keyboards to the chip set controller connections. It's often by user habits. In an attempt to control difficult to use touch pads we tend to press harder than necessary applying to much pressure on the pad and the right and left click buttons in frustration to make them work properly.

The same issue when we hit the enter key and typing. This can cause a key or several even the whole keyboard including touch pads to become dodgy in time collapsing the internal connections onto the internal electrical contacts creating permanently pressed even when not in use.

Touch pad problems can be contributed to an on going struggle with sticking fingers dragging on the pad. That and problems with grit and dirt between the cracks and the left and right click pad edges bumping against each other problem.

Sticking fingers tend to drag on the pad rather than sliding easily specially drinking sweet beverages adding sugar to Coffey or to tea while working on a project can be intolerable to move the on screen cursor.

A trick to avoid this is to moisten our finger with a minimal dab of ordinary baking powder, dish washing liquid or common moisturizes on the finger tip. Only enough to guard against getting between the cracks. With fingers sliding properly we can concentrate moving in a small circle with precision the centre of the pad avoiding collapsing the edges into each other.

This should help stop most of the damage done pressing too hard round the edges of the left and right click pads where there may be a falling apart problem there.

On witches are often integrated with the mother board keyboard chip set arrangements effecting the keyboards and touch pads. It may be mechanically collapsing interfering with the electronics or that has burnt a controlling out chip connecting the motherboard circuitry.

Manufactures often cover their bases with smart short protection designs that shut down immediately if a short is detected. Kind of like a automatic electronic fuse system. With so much electronics at stake in motor vehicle electrics often immobilizes the vehicle from lights to ignition same way. That could cause your computer to shut down seconds after boot up.

Depending on the manufactures design of the USB you may be lucky with an accessory keyboard and mouse my get your computer running or even if the change in behavior improves indicates the keyboard. Confirmation when imitating the processes doesn't respond when you hit the enter key. Remember if there is a keyboard, mouse pad or on switch fault may still cause further problems

Depending on how quickly the shut off you may get lucky tapping lightly round the main the mouse pad components and keyboard keys might help change the behavior enough to give some sort of resemblance of attempting to start. It may even sound a bias fault beeping for the first time since the unit began shutting down at boot up. If no change the mouse pad, keyboard or on switch is still a cause for suspect.

If boot up doesn't shut off but remains on doing nothing improvement is an opportunity to check keyboard key function response. At the stage where the bias asks you to select check the toggling up, down, left and right toggling though menu buttons to see if they work. Check the response of the enter response.  Try this with a auxiliary USB keyboard.

If these test shows the keyboard or mouse pad yutube on the internet provides more than enough help to get to know the mechanical characteristic of your computer. Just type in the model and number and type the keywords keyboard or mouse pad disassembly or even replacement to see whats going on under the keyboard and mouse pad.

Proper functioning laptops have certain features engineered in them by the installed operating system's manufacture. called the sleep mode. When activated saves users work. There is two ways in which this is done. One of these is manually done by the user choice for what ever reason from the shut down menu or when the lid closed.

When the lid is lifted by default, unless the user has modified the user account control, will open in the pass word window before it will proceed to open exactly where the user left off. Using an auxiliary USB keyboard by passing the laptop's can be very helpful.

The same sleep mode system is activated by a low battery. Level monitors give message warnings before the battery charge is no longer able to run the laptop anymore. When a user takes the charge to that level the sleep mode activates saving the users work on the hard drive just before the battery shuts down the laptop.

Properly functioning laptops the smart operating system recognizes it is in the sleep mode accessing the save work from the hard drive going though the same protocol as the latter to gain accesses to the users work restoring it in the motherboards memory again where the user can continue where they left off from the battery shut down.

Depending o manufacture design if stuck in sleep modes can be the cause of a laptops switching themselves off a couple of seconds into reboot. If battery shut down or closing the lid during the early stages the potential of the awake sleep mode not to accessed until reboot or repair diagnoses is completed can keep shutting down after every start up.

A reasonable sign is a click laptops make when the battery shuts down. A closed lid sleep mode activated during reaper diagnoses will do it. Obviously the awake sleep has to be cleared before the unit will stop shutting down.

A test with the lid if can help conform. While the unit is shut down genetically move the lid to see what happens. To work the awake sleep mode has to be accessed by the operating system whitch I doubt can happen if the unit is still in the early reboot or fault diagnoses mode.
